The Saskatchewan Dragoons, Canada.
The Saskatchewan Dragoons are unit of the Canadian Forces Primary Reserve, that is based around the region of Moose Jaw. Their job is to assist the Regular Force in meeting Canada's military commitments. So their training and equipment closely follow that of the Regular Force, which the Reserves a 
re called upon to assist with. The Saskatchewan Dragoons provide the Canadian Army with reconnaissance troops, a Headquarters Troop and an A1 Echelon.
Members of The Saskatchewan Dragoons are also actively involved in United Nations peacekeeping operations such as Cyprus, the Middle East, Bosnia, and Croatia. The unit also provided assistance to civil powers following natural disasters, such as the contingent that served in Manitoba during the flood of 1997. The Dragoons are hoping to return to Regimental status, a proposal to develop a sub-unit in Swift Current, and a plan to expand the Currie Armoury to accommodate an indoor miniature range and simulation system.
