The Toddler Years
Lady Louise Windsor spend the first year of her life out of the public eye. I can only assume that this is her parents, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex's wishes. The public only heard of Louise following her christening in April. As with all royal children whom are kept out of the spotlight, rumours about Louise's health were speculated about in the
press and especially on the internet. The most prominent of these been that Louise was suffering from a eye problem. It needs to be said that Buckingham Palace has neither confirmed or denied this rumour.
Louise made a surprise, but welcomed, appearance in the Queen's Christmas Broadcast in 2004. She appeared in her mother's arms inspecting the Christmas tree and accepting a gift from her grandmother, the Queen and grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh. Louise also appeared on the family's Christmas Card, alongside her parents and grandparents. On Boxing Day that same year Louise was seen walking with her parents on the Sandringham Estate, nestled in a pouch on her father's back.
Lady Louise also went on holiday to Tuscany with her parents. She showed off her inquisitive nature and how well she could walk alongside the Countess of Wessex as they went strolling around the local shops.
